When driving north turn right of Highway #6 & 1st Street South in the town of Ashern Admission: by Donation The Museum is open daily from the third Sunday in June until September Please call ahead for hours of operation Bus, School or private tours are welcome.
The Pioneer Museum is also a great facility and location for a family or school reunions, weddings or group gatherings. Ashern Pioneer Museum features six restored buildings to tour from Ashern's past.

  • The old CNR Station which also is the main office to the Museum
  • St. Michael's Anglican Church built in 1912
  • Hoffman Log House built in 1929
  • Ashern Post Office (originally used as a house in 1928 then post office in 1931)
  • 1st Rural Municipality of Siglunes Office (purchased bldg. & used from 1931-63)
  • Darwin School built in 1912 this one room school was used until 1960's
